Wine Tasting Event For The Grieco Community Cat Care Center

Grieco Automotive Group, together with PawsWatch, was proud to host a Wine Tasting Event for the Grieco Community Cat Care Center on May 8, 2019. The evening’s festivities included wine tasting provided by Tri-Town Wine and Spirits, hors d’ oeuvres provided by The Capital Grille and Pizzeria Uno, and soda provided by Yacht Club Soda. Special thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors and attendees!

PawsWatch

PawsWatch is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Rhode Islanders provide care and vaccinations to neighborhood cats. As an all-volunteer rescue group, PawsWatch is funded entirely by community donations, grants, and fundraising events, with more than 90% of raised income going directly toward veterinary care and support for homeless cats and kittens. PawsWatch is now taking the next step as it opens the Community Cat Care Center.

About Community Cat Care Center

We are excited to announce that the Grieco Community Cat Center will be opening June 2019! The Community Cat Care Center will be Rhode Island’s newest care facility, providing a space for feral and abandoned cats to receive medical care, social interaction, and adoption opportunities. In collaboration with Grieco Automotive Group, PawsWatch, and Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue, the CCCC will house a TNR sanctuary, veterinary clinic, adoption center, and our state’s very first cat cafe, Pat-A-Cat Place & Adoptions. These vital resources of cat rescue in one building will significantly alleviate the burden placed on volunteers and ease the trauma of frightened cats moving from place to place. This facility will increase our capacity to service more cats. This ambitious achievement has only been possible with the incredible hard work and generosity of our volunteers and benefactors, to whom we are immensely grateful.
